Privacy notice
Who is responsible
This site is run by István Fehér (Mezőkövesd, Hungary). For any privacy question, write to stevenwhite997@gmail.com.
Visitor statistics
I measure visits with Analyzza, a cookie-free web analytics tool (based on the open-source Umami) that runs on my own server in the EU. It records the page you open (without URL parameters), the referring page, your browser language, screen size, browser, operating system and device type, and the country derived from your IP address. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you to other websites. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is recorded.
Why, and on what legal basis
I measure so I can see which pages are read, including whether a page I prepared for a specific application has been opened. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not use the statistics to identify individuals, and I do not share them with anyone.
AI assistant
An AI assistant answers questions about István's professional profile on these pages. The answers are written by AI (Google Gemini on Vertex AI, EU region) and may contain mistakes. What you type is sent to Google Vertex AI as a processor to produce the answer; I do not store your questions or the answers. For the cost limit and abuse protection, a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address is kept for 24 hours, and usage is logged only as time, token count and page identifier. Please do not enter personal or confidential information; to get in touch, send an e-mail. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
For operation and security, the web server logs technical request data (IP address, time, requested address, browser). The logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
If you write to me
I use your e-mail and contact details only to reply and to handle the application or project in question, and I do not pass them on.
Third parties
Fonts and images are served from this server. There are no ads, social media plugins or other third-party trackers. The visitor statistics also count anonymous click events (for example opening the CV, downloading the PDF, a project link), without any text or identifier.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction, and object to processing, at the e-mail address above. You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu).
